A partir de una idea de un entrenador basada en un modelo de juego, un modelo que no tenía por qué ser de dar 752 pases en horizontal por el hecho de darlos.
La directiva y el cuerpo técnico tienen que ser capaces de pensar qué queremos, a dónde nos dirigimos y cómo? Y no vivir de falsos recuerdos ni de futuros condicionales, hay que formar una estructura, apegada a ese modelo que tan bien nos va y desarrollarla.
Me gustaría mucho que ese desarrollo partiese de Cesc como jefe de máquinas

Tal cual, hay que pensar que el fútbol que escoge el Barça no es un objetivo por si mismo, sino que es un medio para lograr el verdadero objetivo en este juego, que es la victoria.

En ese Barça de la Intercontinental contra el Santos que pongo de ejemplo, era el mejor fútbol que podíamos hacer, los mejores eran esa pléyade de centrocampistas, coronados por el mejor jugador del mundo, que también tiene una sensibilidad especial en la asociación con sus compañeros.

Pero no hay que perder perspectiva, el sistema debe evolucionar sin perder la esencia, y una manera fundamental de no perderla es pensar que el sistema vale para algo.

Es algo muy del Barça pecar de cierta endogamia, desde su «juego irrenunciable» a que «hay que sacar de la Masía diez de los once titulares del equipo» Y no, eso no es así, y no lo es porque nos limita.

Hay que trabajar bajo una identidad irrenunciable, pero no por esa identidad en sí, sino por los beneficios que la misma nos otorga.

Yo soy el primero que quiere y argumenta un central kaiser, pero no «porque mole» sino porque considero que con dicho central la necesidad de correr para atrás se minimiza. Entiéndaseme el ejemplo.

Y soy el primer orgulloso de la Masía, pero no todos los años vamos a tener generaciones como los Leo, Piqué, Iniesta… y entender esto te ayuda a valorarla incluso más.

Ciertos radicalismos en las posturas tan sólo quitan razones, pocas veces las dan. Así como no ver las ventajas que otorga nuestra manera de entender el fútbol. Ventajas competitivas, reales, tangibles. Es a eso a lo que debemos atarnos y no a dogmatismos absurdos.
