Yo creo que debería profundizarse en la idea con la que jugó Pep hace un tiempo, un lateral que en ataque sea extremo (toda la banda para él) y que permita al jugador de ese lado moverse por todo el frente de ataque.

Messi cada vez se mueve menos (siempre al pie, nula movilidad para recibir entre líneas, no facilita a los pasadores) y por eso necesita alguien por delante que le agite, bien un 9 tirando centrales (Alexis) bien un extremo muy móvil (Neymar).

En ese contexto importaría poco de dónde parte Neymar, si de izquierda o derecha, porque tendría presencia por todos lados. No sé si os acordáis del partido vs. Villarreal, hubo unos minutos en la primera parte que el FCB perdió el control y apareció Neymar por ahí, se descolgó hacia la derecha, junto tres o cuatro secuencias de pases y se recuperó el tempo y el control.

A mí para estar arriba me gusta más Alba que Alves, y aunque precisamente una de las virtudes de Alba es llegar desde atrás, la pone muy bien (tanto rasa como a la cabeza) y puede actuar más de extremo. Adriano es otro que no me disgusta como extremo, de hecho tiene un dribbling muy potente, centra bien y tiene disparo, pero exponerle 90 minutos a recuperaciones defensivas de 70 metros igual es demasiado para él.

Luego el tema de Cesc que comentaba también @eumd, y es que le hemos visto en los últimos partidos más en la base y con responsabilidades defensivas, y el equipo ha acusado su ausencia cerca de la portería, donde su movilidad y dinamismo entre líneas facilita un poco más de profundidad. Esa ausencia de Cesc se podría compensar con la presencia de Neymar en ese rol que resalta @Fdeprimera.

Claro, para jugar a esto, Neymar moviéndose, un lateral atando ese lado y un extremo en el otro, sobra uno de los interiores (todos miramos a Xavi, ¿no?) y precisamente tengo dudas de que sin Xavi el equipo sea más competitivo que con él (por como está configurado por ahora.

Y creo también que Alves rinde mucho más con un extremo por delante con quien hacer el 2×2 y que le arrastre jugadores para entrar al espacio que con toda la banda para él, donde muestra carencias.

Vaya, que si me la tuviese que jugar, sería con Neymar en izquierda, Alba subiendo y Pedro por derecha (me gusta más como pareja de Alves que Alexis aunque el chileno te da esa salida en largo que no te ofrece nadie más en la plantilla), con Alves por detrás del balón hasta ganar la frontal rival (sumando ese hombre que pierdes quitando a uno de los interiores)
