Piqué mostró lo que podía llegar a ser, uno de los mejores centrales del mundo. En mi opinión, tras las dos pésimas temporadas que jugó, ésta última aunque algo mejor pero no ha rendido al nivel que puede (ni de lejos!) Es cierto que han fallado todos pero él también. A mi me da la sensación que es un jugador que como Cesc o Alves, si no está el látigo (bien entendido) de alguien como Pep detrás, tienden a creerse que están por encima de todo Dios. Insisto, es solo mi opinión. He visto a Piqué esta temporada bien an algunos partidos pero retratado en otros y yendo de «sobrao» en otros y eso no es lo que yo quiero como central del Barça.

Se han escuchado criticas a Pique toda la temporada cuando estaba siendo el sostén de un sistema defensivo como no hay otro(peor) en la élite.

Y con esto no quiero menospreciar el trabajo de Mascherano y Bartra, ya que lo que hacía Pique era sobrehumano y sin el, se cayo el chiringuito.

Podemos esperar del futuro que un sistema defensivo trabajado haga que Gerard viva mas cómodo. Evitar que sea el único sostén del equipo y exponerle a salir a banda a tapar al lateral derecho en cada transición defensiva debería de ayudarle..

Yo creo que muchas críticas a Piqué vienen por su vida y declaraciones extradeportivas y está influenciada para mal por las dos temporadas en las que bajó su nivel y por las dos en las que jugó a un nivel tan alto que hacía años no se veía un central así.

Seguramente no será nunca mas aquel jugador irreal, pero tampoco es un paquete ni está como en sus momentos mas bajos. Entre medias, en mi opinión a Piqué le da para estar entre los 5 mejores en su posición.

Se leen cosas terribles de Piqué, y al final se ha demostrado que, efectivamente, es el que mantiene el chiringuito en pié.

Cierto que el (mal) juego del equipo hace peores a todos, pero sin él se ha notado la falta de calidad defensiva del equipo, sobre todo porque el sistema no ha ayudado y ahí solo la calidad individual sostiene el invento, y de eso Piqué va sobrado.

Solo espero que aquellos que tanto (a veces con razón) le han atizado, puedan valorarle ahora como lo que es, el central titular número 1 de este equipo para el futuro. Cualquiera que venga, por muy bueno que sea, tendrá que demostrar cosas, mientras que él ya lo ha hecho.

Hay muchas, pero muchas, cosas que cambiar la próxima temporada, pero la columan vertebral del equipo incluye a un Piqué que, aún con sus altibajos, sigue siendo un crack mundial en lo suyo.

Eso sí, suerte vamos a necesitar para volver a estar arriba, y sobre todo tener una idea clara de lo que queremos ser olvidándonos del pasado.
